Winning isn't everything?I highly disagree with teaching athletes to believe in, “Winning isn’t everything, it is the only thing.” From basketball to soccer to lacrosse and even bowling, competition is rising in Florida. Coaches push their athletes past the point of no return to be the best of the best, but have coaches gone too far in saying, “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.”? I believe they have and I do disagree with this statement because athletes trained to believe that will never learn how to lose, coaches will never be satisfied with hard fought losses, and if all one can do is compete to win it takeWinning isn't everything?
